This weekend isn't here yet and it's kicking my ass. As I've been super busy getting ready for my race on Saturday which I am excited about I'm also working a ton getting the Links ready to open for the first guests of the season and we are booked up all weekend. I see this being a pretty regular thing happening which is good. Keeps me employed but I've started to think about all of the balls I have in the air and I don't want to make a big mess. As I looked at my race schedule I just realized it had to many races on it for me to realistically do this year and keep my employers happy. Yes many employers but what can I say I got to pay my bills and have money left for all the bike shit that I need (in my mind it's a need). So I have decided not to do any of the races outside of Nebraska this year and just focus on the local ones that don't eat up so much travel time. Plus with everything getting busy I'm not going to have the time to train like I would like so I will only embarrass myself in one state not multiple states.
I spent most of tonight getting things ready for Saturday. Bike cleaned and ready, clothing packed, food & race nutrition bought and planned and then all the stuff I need to head to work after I get back to town from the race. Tomorrow is going to be a long night and I'm probably going to be working until 10 or 11 and then have the 50 min drive back home still afterwards. So I have pretty much everything ready know so I don't have much to do when I get home and on Saturday at 5:15 AM when I leave to meet up with Robb I can throw my bike on my car and grab my bags and be gone or at least that's the plan. Not to stoked about a short nights sleep before the race but not much I can do about that. Later.

Harp,
You can sleep in the car if you need to.
Rob
I guess that leaves the Worlds out this year Harp.

Good luck to you man, I don't know how you can do it.
Good luck with the beginning of the season. You don't NEED the employer though I note, sooooooo you should still do the races without worrying.
