Almost 2 weeks

I can't believe it has almost been 2 weeks since I posted last. I'm still adjusting to my new schedule of being really busy at work, training and then top it off with my new going back to school work load I've been struggling to keep up on reading blogs let alone posting anything on my own. With a friendly and much appreciated reminder from my good Friend up north, bluenoser I decided I did need to get a post up.

Tomorrow is the start of the Lincoln Cyclocross Weekend. For me tomorrow is a tune-up and prep day for Sunday which is the state championships. After advice from team management I'm racing one race tomorrow and then 2 for the state champ on Sunday. Tomorrow I'm racing the Cat 3/4 race and then on Sunday both the Cat 3/4 and the 4. I don't know how I'm going to perform. I'm feeling a little tired from staying up late to keep up on school and I didn't ride this much as I would have liked and then add on the 8-10 lbs extra I'm carrying since MTB season finished (I'm getting back on the full training diet after thanksgiving. no point starting now. I have little control) who knows what will happen.

The biggest worry on Sunday is that I only have 15 minutes in between races and those of you that have raced cross before and know how it is that's really no time. The suffering should be fun.

I do have everything ready to go though and everything should be relaxed since the race course is only 5 minutes by bike away from my house. I had Paul at the shop get my bike tuned and I finished the shine on it tonight so it can get all dirty again this weekend.

It was kind of funny today a student of mine was doing a parody of me and he stated the fact that I just finished riding my "2010 Felt F75X Cross Bike" and then when I put this post up I put a picture of the bike on the bottom. Yes I do talk about my bikes cause I like them so much and I am a shameless promoter of my sponsors. So here is another shot of my tuned and prepped race ready 2010 Felt F75X Cross Bike. Later.

i cannot believe you are going to do 2 - 15 minutes apart. that is insane. i am not even recovered from a race in 15 minutes!
