Man, I can tell that yesterday was my first real hard effort of the season. It was a big reminder that no matter how hard you think you are training you can never really get into that race pace and push yourself like you do during races. It feels great.
I took today off from any training to give my muscles a bit of a longer rest. My back is probably the most sore. I think it is from all the heavy breathing for so long. Still trying to improve the anaerobic ability. As I have been sitting around all I have been thinking about is racing. This first race has got me real pumped for the rest of the season. I've been thinking about what class to race in. Since I only did 2 races last year (first one doesn't count since I had to stop on the first lap due to mechanical issues) in the beginner category my plan was to race the same category again. I've been having some second thoughts and I think I'm going to move up to the sport class and really push myself. I also think that racing in this category will really help me improve even more and show me more of my weaknesses to focus on.
I can't wait till tomorrow I'm really ready to get back in the saddle and start training again. I think that more of the hills in pioneers park will be in order. I love the pain. And it must be working ok since that is where I was most successful in the race. Later.

Always go the one better. I had great success as a junior because there were not enough juniors where I lived so I trained and raced with the seniors.
Lots of stretching for the back Harp.

I know a couple of guys that will be real happy you are moving up a bracket. :)
I forgot to mention yesterday that I am very impressed that you sold 4 bikes on Saturday. That is awesome.
