After I got home from work tonight and got the kids to bed I went out for a light spin in the dark to test out the light I'm borrowing (thanks Grant) and see how I feel after Sundays race. The light is a bit to get used to. When riding in the dark it is a totally different world. The paved trail and rail trail that I ride all the time seem different and once I got into the woods the trail that I ride almost daily(when dry) seemed like a whole new place. The light worked awesome and I'm sure it is going to work great for the last 1/2 hour of this Sunday's race in the dark.
After a little warming up my legs felt great. I didn't really notice any stiffness or soreness at all. Actually they felt quite good and I kind of wish I would have more time to ride than my quick 45 minute light spin.
So here's my question: Whose up for a little late night riding practice in Wilderness this week? I know some of you guys are racing the 12 hour with me this weekend. If anyone is up for it let me know.
My new Giro Ionos black/carbon helmet mounted up with the lights ready to go.

I'd love to but I don't have any trail lights. Did you decide if you wanted to ride solo or not?
I will team up with you and Robb if you're sure you guys don't mind. Send me an email with your number and I'll give you a call.
I'd be keen ... if I wouldn't live on the other side of the world ... :-)
Harp has seen the light.
