Gravel and Goodbye

Today was another gravel ride. I left the house about 6:15 am and headed out west where Ryan and I had ridden on Saturday and rode a lot of the same route but went farther. I felt off in the saddle today. I just didn't have the legs like I should have after yesterday where the only riding I did was the commute to the shop and back. I new right when I left that I didn't felt sluggish but I kept turning the cranks and ended up putting in almost 32 miles. I mapped out the ride on mapmyride.com. It's a pretty cool and useful sight that will see some use logging my miles on the mountain bike since I don't have a computer on it. You can check out my route here.

Yesterday I sold my 07 Marin Bolinas Ridge. It was my first real mountain bike and it worked great and I really liked it but it just wasn't built for racing so it didn't fit my needs very well. I'm not that sentimental or attached to many things but I am glad that the bike is staying in the family. I sold it to my brother in law and he will be able to use it more like it was ment to and I can keep it up for him and make sure it doesn't get neglected.

Last night the wife and I went to the movies and I looked what was on and we decided on you don't mess with the zohan. My wife wasn't looking to forward to seeing it but it was father's day so it was my pick. If you want to see a movie that is incredibly stupid but laugh out loud funny, go see this movie. I thought it was hilarious and awesome. I knew what to expect going in but it was better than I thought it would be. My wife even thought it was pretty funny and she usually doesn't like anything I pick.

That's all for me. My daughter wants me to take her on a bike ride. So later.

How long did it take you to ride all that?

Ryan-I didn't really pay to close attention to the time. I think somewhere around 2:20
