Tough News

Today I got some news that has been hard to deal with. My wife went in this morning for a regular doctors visit and for an ultra-sound. When they did the ultra-sound they could not find a heartbeat and discovered the baby was deceased. As of right now they can't tell why but are thinking that it was a cromazome problem or a heart defect.

My wife is dealing with it well. She goes in for a surgery tomorrow. We had always known that this was a high risk pregnancy but it still doesn't make it much easier to deal with. I guess it is better to happen now than to have the baby and have it not make it. It was hard to tell the kids. My daughter took it rough but is bouncing back well. Both my wife and I tried to just keep on going about the day as normal and try not to think about it. She went and did a couple things with her mom and I went to the shop and worked on putting my new car rack on. We even took the kids to the movie but it was hard not to think about it.

Sorry for the bummer of a post but this blog is like my journal and it is one of those places I go to to get things out and kind of talk about them. Later.

Lamentations 3:31-33
For men are not cast off by the Lord forever.Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the children of men.

Thanks for the thoughts. i really appreciate it. Judi-about 2 1/2 years ago my wife had 2 surgeries for endometriosis. We didn't think she could get pregnant again and if she could there was the posibility for problems from the dammage done by it.
