1:13:25

1 hour 13 min. 25 seconds. That was my time for my Wilderness Park out and back loop that I have been doing for training lately. That time blows the times I have been putting in out of the water. 2 weeks ago the time was like 1:39 then I got a bit better and a bit better. Last week I started getting some times in the 1:20's so I set my goal for the season at 1:15. This makes me very happy.

Today I felt like I was in complete race form. Finally. Today I was just able to crank it the whole time. My plan for today was to do a race like effort. I hope I feel as good in my races as I did today. When I first left the house and I was warming up which is counted in the time my right knee was a bit sore and I wasn't sure how it would hold up but after spinning a bit it felt fine.

Now that I've met the goal I set for the season I'm resetting it to 1:10. We'll see how that goes. Later.

What loop do you take?

I have a route where I cut accross some of the hiker trails and then work my way back to the trail entrance on south 14th and then all the way back through the park. I'll show you next time we ride it.

I'm going to try to get to the park around 5 for about an hour ride.
