Keeping the system Tuned

I haven't been the best about posting on the blog lately. It just seems like I got a lot to do and by the time I get home get my training in, make dinner and all the other things it seems I have to keep up on I'm ready to go to bed.

I've actually been able to get a lot of time in the saddle lately and I'm feeling pretty good about the race this weekend. I'm looking forward to this one. The course fits me pretty well with some long grinding climbs that I think I can put some time on people but of course I never know exactly how I'm going to feel at the time of the race. All I know is that I'm just ready to go. Only 3 mtb and 1 road race left for the season.
Tonght was just a light road spin with some hard sprinting efforts mixed in. The sprints felt really good. Too bad I suck at sprinting when I'm racing. Unfortunetly I'm not going to be able to get out and spin the legs again tomorrow. I got to take the kids down to the grandparents for the weekend but no worries I could probably use the extra rest. Later.

Good luck at the race this weekend! I'm not going to make it up there for this one. Makes me sad, it was the first race for me ever last year.
