Finally back in the Dirt

So we have finally had some dry and warmer weather here in Southeast NE so I loaded up the Mountain bike and headed out to Branched Oak to test ride the track and see if it is ready to race for this Sundays training race our team is putting on. I met up with Flatwater teammates Ryan, Jason and John and we spent some time riding the singletrack and checking to see how we were going to set it up for this weekend. We are thinking positively though the weather doesn't sound the best. We are supposed to also be hosting a Crit on Saturday at Branched Oak just down the road from where the mountain bike race will be. It was so nice to be out in just shorts and a jersey with no leg or arm warmers. I hope it lasts and I can get back to riding outside and in the dirt on a more regular basis. Here are some pics from today's ride. I also added a video of us riding back from when we rode down to check and see how the crit course was. John who has a ton of experience and knowledge racing was coaching me on what the crit will be like on Saturday.
