Took the bike over to the shop yesterday to have some work done to it and picked it up today with a new bottom bracket, rear derailleur, brake pads and a overall tune up. I got the call at lunch time saying my bottom bracket was pretty much roached. I wish I could have told them to put a crank brothers one on but bike funding is a little low and I'm hoping to get a new bike for the 09 season so I don't want to invest to much into this one. I only had enough daylight to get out for a quick 3 mile ride to test out how it ran. I had a new 07 Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur put on and it works pretty smooth and a good deal at $50. Well I gotta go get my weight training workout in. Later.
