Outside with New Pythons

With some of the time that I had banked at the college for doing extra stuff on the weekends I decided to take a 1/2 day and get some outside saddle time in. After leaving the college around 12 I headed over to the shop to throw some new tires on the bolinas. After some recommendations I decided to go with the hutchinson pythons. They should work pretty well for around here. After I had them on the bike I headed out for a tour of south Lincoln for about 1 1/2 hours. Man it was nice to be riding outside without all the winter gear on. A high of 71 in March makes me happy. The new tires rolled great. I stayed on the paved trails today but I can't wait to test them out on some dirt. After the ride I headed back to the shop and spent the rest of the afternoon there hoping the nice weather would bring some people out.

As a bonus for today I got my new Marin team kit in. Since the shop isn't doing a kit yet this year the best way to promote it is to wear the Marin kit. They sell the hell out of the bikes there and I totally love ridin em so it works well for both of us. I like the kit Suarez makes it and it's ultra comfy.

I think with tomorrows temps in the 60's some outside time on the road bike on the hills of pioneers park is due. Should be a good workout and the last day I will probably push hard this week cause of the race on Sunday. I hope everyone else is finding some time outside ( if the weather sucks where your at I'm truly sorry).

I saw someone else do the above shot so I thought I would give it a try (like the new kit).

The pythons after the test ride. I think I'm gonna love these tires.

The tires look good Harp! Don't wear them out before the races start.

Nice kit Harp. Good luck with the race. I have a few weeks still to train. They haven't even published the race calender yet.
