Training, Driving & First Day

Little bit of a hectic day today. Got up around 7 and ate then proceeded to the basement for about an hour and a half on the bike punishing myself and making up for the lack of any real training yesterday. To tell the truth the legs felt pretty good so it wasn't to bad but after riding outside in 60 degree weather yesterday getting back on the trainer was the last thing I wanted to do.

After that it was a bit of scurrying around the house and out the door for a 3 and 1/2 hour round trip to drop off a puppy. One more down and 4 to go. I do think the pups are fun but it will make life around the house a little more chill when their gone and off at there permanent homes.

Then right when I got back to town I headed over to the shop for my first day working at bike pedalers. Man, I'm really going to like this job. It's a break from what I normally do and I get to work and talk about bikes.

After that the rest of the night has just been spent chillin and hanging out with the family. Not bad for a Sunday but it made the weekend go fast and it's time to head back to work so I better get my but to bed for some recovery time before tomorrow's next set of intervals. Later.

Holly Cow harp. What a deal on the puppies. I paid almost double that for my guy back in 1989!

Question - on the pups. How do you know the home you place them in are good? Do you keep up with the pups to make sure they are safe? Just asking....

We have actually told some people no. We tend to run into a few of the people that buy our dogs. We become a little attached to these dogs so we want to make sure they do go to good people who will take care of them. We probably care to much and that's why this is the last time we are doing it.
