More Yellow

I just recently received my new kicks for the 2010 road racing season. The Mavic Zxellium And I was surprised to see that Mavic found ways to make them more even more yellow than the 2009 versions. I've been able to give them a few spins on the trainer and one ride outside and I definitely notice the difference from riding in my mountain bike shoes like I had been. Both shoes have the stiff carbon sole but with the addition of the platform for the cleat I really noticed the added stiffness and energy transfer when I stood up and hammered it out of the saddle. I'm really going to like these things. I'm looking forward now to when I can get my bike fit done so I can square everything up.

As far as riding goes lately it has still mostly been on the trainer. I was able to get out on Monday since I didn't work and get in a nice 2 hour ride on the road bike (which I haven't ridden outside for 2 months) with Jason from the shop. It felt good to be back out on the road and it's always so nice to have the 2 hours fly bye outside where you want more vs the snail pace that the time goes by on the trainer.

Other than that I'm back into full swing with work and my class that I'm taking right now so life is busy and the days are flying bye. Later.

You'll notice a big difference after you dial in with the bike fit harp.
